Welcome to the course Ecology: Abiotic elements with which you will know and control the strategies and adaptations developed to coexist in an optimal way with the environment and with the human activities that affect our environment
Professional Competences
The completion of this course will help you to achieve the following professional competencies:
- Informing about the environment, using appropriate communication techniques.
- Characterize environmental problems, proposing sustainable solutions to them
- Promote heritage values in the natural environment by developing interpretation activities
- Adapt to new work situations, maintaining up-to-date scientific, technical and technological knowledge relating to their professional environment, managing their training and existing resources in lifelong learning and using information and communication technologies
Objectives
General
Identify the main factors that affect the environment and their interactions, describing the alterations that produce bad environmental practices, analyzing the environmental and patrimonial components and working with documentary sources and quality parameters of a habitat
Specific
- Classify the fundamental principles of ecology, identifying the main laws underpinning them
- To interpret the factors that influence the functioning of terrestrial, aerial and aquatic ecosystems, relating them to the development of geological, meteorological and hydrological processes
- Characterize the abiotic elements that make up the environment, relating their importance to the behavior of organisms
